It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

Updated: Apr 21, 2020

We respect all the religions, beliefs and holidays at our center and this is one of the reasons I love being part of the Creative Minds family!

We set up our own Christmas tree at the center, but how about making our own ornaments and decorations to make this time of the year even brighter.

Here it goes some ideas!

Mini Christmas trees.

This is so easy to put together! Everything we needed to do was to cut card papers into the shape of pine trees, and then we asked the children to paint them with green paint and let them dry to be decorated the next day.

Some colored paints and cotton swabs do the trick. They are always allowed to use their fingers if they want to! And of course, we can’t forget to paint yellow stars to be put on the top

Christmas sweaters.

It’s so simple as well! Just draw and cut dozens of shapes of sweaters on red paper and voilà! The craft is ready to be decorated with pompoms, papers, stickers, etc.

Colouring

How about doing Christmas drawings on a big long paper and ask the children to paint? This was Elly`s project, one of our Educators who is also a very talented artist. She basically drew everything in 10 minutes and gathered the children around the table to color with water paint.

Merry Christmas, everybody!
