Looking for an easy craft for Halloween?! Jack-O’-Lantern pumpkin decoration is such an easy and fun option to do during a rainy afternoon in October!
Everything we needed was pumpkin shapes cut in orange paper and different shapes of eyes, noses, and mouths.
It seems very easy to put together, but for those children who have just started daycare last September, they are still learning how to use a glue stick, for example.
Few of them are still developing their visual perceptions as well. While for some children Jack-O’-Lantern will have two eyes, one nose, and one mouth, just like a “regular” human or animal face, for other children though, they are still getting familiar with these simple elements. Crafts like this can be a good way to learn how to recognize them.
